Traveling and Inflammatory Food

I’m traveling to Xi’an for dentist appointment and meeting an old friend. I left the apartment at 5am, I felt tired. When I arrived at the boarding gate, the announcement board have mentioned that it was a last call for my flight πŸ˜†

I landed around 9am. I took an airport bus to go downtown. I arrived at downtown around 11am. I felt super hungry, so I went to Starbucks with assumption they would have salad. The other restaurants around are mostly selling chicken fast food or spicy noodles. I always have problem finding a restaurant where I can eat non inflammatory food when traveling…

Surprisingly Starbucks doesn’t have vegetable salad today. Only sandwiches, cakes, and fruit salad. I will order the fruit salad if it doesn’t have watermelon in it. My stomach doesn’t like watermelon, it always feel upset after I eat it. I just don’t know why. 

I ended up ordering green tea latte and  tuna and egg salad. It’s good πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Green tea latte with cinnamon, it has dairy in it, and its sweet. Anti inflammatory + inflammatory = neutral? Hopefully!!! I feel nervous 😩

Wheat bread + tunas + eggs = mostly inflammatory. My body, please be kind to me this time πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ

I keep doing math when I eat inflammatory food. The idea is to eat more anti inflammatory food when you eat inflammatory food at the same time. It’s experimental, I’m my own lab rat πŸ˜†

Let’s see in few hours what is going to happen 😳



1.5 hours later – my stomach feel gassy, oh… it’s the milk 😩

Night Pain

It’s 3:45 am. I have been waking up since 2 am. I’m in pain, back pain and lower abdomen pain. Even a level 4 pain could feel so painful in the middle of the night like this. I just took an ibuprofen. I still need to wait until it’s reacting so I can go back to sleep. Meanwhile I will try to manage the pain as much as possible πŸ˜”



4:20 am 

I’m still awake. The pain has been decreasing a little.

My hot water bags are comforting me πŸ™πŸΌ

My cat woke up for awhile accompanied me. My husband woke up for a sec, rubbed my belly and then hold my hand while went back to sleep.

Although I’m in pain, I still have things to be grateful for. 

Life is good. 

4:50 am

The pain down to 2/10. 

I’m feeling sleepy, that’s good.. I think I will fall asleep soon. Just need to warming up one of my water bag one more time.

March PD2: Miracle Day

Day 2

Total ibuprofen taken: 1

Symptoms: Heavy bleeding, Back pain (2-4/10), Lower abdomen pain (1/10)

Last cycle I took 4×200 mg ibuprofen on day 2. I had heavy bleeding, back pain (2-3/10), cramps (4-5/10), and nauseous.

I’m down from 4 to 1 ibuprofen. For me that’s a miracle! The endo diet works, the Ayurvedic medicines and supplements work. I’m very grateful!!! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ

I decided to make my swelly belly picture as an art piece πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Period day 1 was quite easy. Other than my swelly belly, nothing really obvious happened. I had lower back pain (1/10) and lower abdomen pain (1/10). No ibuprofen taken. I toughened it up!

Last cycle I took 1 ibuprofen on day 1. A good progress 😊
